Ron Howard on "Dark Tower"

The following are videos of Ron Howard and Brian Grazer discussing their upcoming "Dark Tower"  project, written by Stephen King.  Apparently, the two names being most mentioned for the lead role of Roland Deschain are Javier Bardem and Viggo Mortensen.  I look at the list of those involved though--Ron, Brian, and Akiva Goldsman writing the script--and think that the only name missing there is Russell Crowe.

I haven't been able to get that thought out of my mind since I first heard Ron would be directing.  Nothing against either Viggo or Javier, but I want Russell to play this part so bad I can almost taste it.  So, Ron and Brian, if you see this--there's my vote for what it's worth!
